Ravanama

Ravanama is about the search for the mythological character, Ravana, through the many stories associated with him. On stage, we see a performer in the process of making a show. Every time she decides on a way to start, a fresh story about Ravana takes her in a different direction. Is there a thread that connects all these stories? It is only at the end of the show that she discovers the ideal way to start the making of the show. This show is deeply inspired by Kathakali both as an artistic form as also in its particular portrayal of Ravana.
